SALARY: $104,544
LOCATION: 1100 SOUTH HAMILTON AVE., CHICAGO, ILLINOIS AND OTHER COURT FACILITIES THROUGHOUT COOK COUNTY
The Juvenile Redeploy Clinical Services Manager is under the general administrative authority of the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and oversees all county employed Redeploy Therapists and clinical functions provided by the contracted vendors. The Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Juvenile Redeploy Services. Redeploy Services are intensive services available to adjudicated youth in designated judicial calendars throughout Cook County.

The Juvenile Redeploy Clinical Services Manager:
- Directly supervises the county employed Redeploy Therapists along with general oversight of all clinical services provided by the Redeploy Illinois grant.
- Works a flexible schedule to supervise and observe staff when the Redeploy hubs are open.
- Conducting weekly/monthly clinical supervision with all staff and receiving case updates.
- Documents all clinical supervision
- Provides leadership, guidance, advice, professional opinion, information, research, and support regarding program activities.
- Assists the Director of Juvenile Redeploy Services with program plans annually which helps to protects the community, ensures that youth are held accountable for their conduct; prevents delinquency, reduces recidivism, and diverts youth from the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice.
- Manages and directs the activities of Redeploy therapists.
- Administer and coordinate the Redeploy clinical intern program, including collaborating with University partners; interviewing clinical interns; and supervising selected clinical interns.
- Assists the Director of Juvenile Redeploy Services with developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the department; assists in preparing and administering the project’s budget;
- Works closely with our University partners; directs research and analytical studies; develops and reviews reports of findings;
- Assists in developing, implementing and directing the program’s quality assurance standards, to include monitoring cFive and policy adherence;
- Monitor licensure of assigned staff using the IDPR database; monitor annual training requirement
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, directives and orders;
- Represents the Circuit Court with dignity, integrity, and a spirit of cooperation in all relationships with staff and the public;
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Judge.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling, and Illinois state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); and
- United States citizenship; and
- Residency in the State of Illinois within 90 days of the date of appointment
- Theories, principles practices of the juvenile justice system, including institutional, out-patient and related child development and family dynamics programs.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in the development and implementation of service delivery programs.
- Principles and practices of social service delivery, including crisis intervention, particularly in relation to children, youth and families.
- Principles and practices of developing teams, motivating employees and managing in a team environment.
- Applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Computer applications related to the work.
- Valid driver’s license and working vehicle for travel to multiple job sites
- Techniques for dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, in person and over the telephone, often where relations may be confrontational or strained.
- Principles and techniques of making effective oral presentations. Ability to:
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Perform all duties described above
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Be available to work in-person 100% of the scheduled work week.
- Be able to walk for short distances and climb stairs.
- Ability to intermittently twist to reach equipment and supplies.
- Be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation.
- Be able to use a telephone and computer keyboard on a daily basis.
